Jul 09, 2007 (10:31:29)
With all of the recent rains and moderate flooding upstream on the Guadalupe River, the time is right for conducting swiftwater boat training. The river is flowing at about 4800cfs at the damn near the Seguin Electric Plant. SPFFA Members practiced on the water for over 3 hours on Sunday, with each company getting some boat time. Old Ladder Comes Home
Jul 09, 2007 (10:26:00)
The city's first ever motorized ladder truck came home late last month. The truck has been on loan to the SFFMA Museum in North Texas. The truck has been started and does run. The truck is being stored with other pieces of SFD history at what is hoped to become our department museum at the old northeast station next to the new station 3.
